Robert Hazelhurst Small, Jr. "Dutch" 65, of Macon, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021.

A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Lizella Baptist Church Cemetery.

Robert was born on June 15, 1956, in Gray, Georgia to the late Robert Hazelhurst Small, Sr. and Irene Craft Small.

He proudly served our country in the United States Marines before beginning a career as a long-haul truck driver. Robert loved driving his truck, and even taught others the trick of the trade. He was most recently employed by Paschall Truck Lines.

He had a witty sense of humor and was the prankster of the family. Robert had a soft spot for the Salvation Army and volunteered his time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and well as his siblings, George Small and Sandra Small Keene.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving family. His nieces; Penny Lee Johnson (Lindsey), Linda Irene Mask (Michael Vandewater), Sandy R. Snow (Michael) and Inga Small. Nephew; Rusty Small. Aunt; Mary Thompson (Gerald). Cousins; Gerald "Jan" Thompson (Sonya) and Kathy Bryant.
