Sherry Christine Fitzgerald Duncan, 69, of Glade Hill, Virginia formerly of Roanoke, Virginia, fought the toughest battle with dementia and even won the battle of breast cancer but passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on August 16th, 2021. Married just days shy of 53 years to her lifelong sweetheart, Fred B. Duncan; She was born in Staunton, Virginia on August 28th, 1951 and was a High school graduate. Working as a school bus driver for many years in Roanoke City and Botetourt County. She always enjoyed sharing the latest gossip she could find, crocheting everyone she could a blanket, cooking Sunday dinner, "the more the merrier" she would say, watching the grandkids so she could spoil them or preparing for a camping trip down by the lake which was always a task she took seriously. But of course, it wasn't Sherry if she didn't always have a pot of coffee on all day ready for a cup whenever.
