Her mother married Edward Battie and the family relocated to Belle Glade, Florida where she graduated from Lake View Senior High School. She was employed with the Key Biscayne Resort Hotel in a Managerial position until her retirement. She then was employed with the Sunrise Community Inc caring for special needs children.
Annie and Rev. Melton Rozier Jr (FAG# 69070504) had 2 daughters together. She later married Willie L. Harris. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Anita P. Rozier- Holloway and 1 sister, Lottie Battie-Walker.

2 Brothers: Walter Battie(Carol) and James Battie(Mary).
