Graveside services will be held Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 2:30 P.M. from Covin Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his mother: Mellie B. Morrison, daughters: Dasha Porter, Deah Hubbert (Jeremy), sister: Linda Wallace (Williamd.), mother of his children: Sharon Morrison, 6 grandchildren: Caidee Porter, Abby Porter, Skylar Hubbert, Gavin Hubbert, Bella Hubbert, and Jaxon Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his father: Willie B. Morrison, and brother: Laddie Morrison.David graduated from Fayette County High School in 1969, and received his Bachelors Degree in Business at Livingston University in 1972. After graduating from college, he owned and operated a successful construction business. He was a faithful and dedicated member of Covin Baptist Church for most of his life. He was a diligent servant and spent many hours caring for the church property and grounds. David loved the lord with his entire heart and longed to be back in his presence.
