Russell Herbert Davis, age 83, of Talking Rock, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at his home. He was born January 26, 1938 to Irvin and Minnie Davis in Davenport, Florida.
Russell is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eugenia Davis of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Stan Pyles of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Misha Davis of Jasper; son, Randy Davis of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Donna Cummings of Jasper; brother, Eugene Davis of Pelham, Georgia; sister, Faye Bryant of Moultrie, Georgia; sister, Thelma PettiJohn of Moultrie, Georgia; sister, Viiria Brown of Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Pam Morey of Pelham, Georgia; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
