Elizabeth Robertson Martin of Rocky Mount, VA was born December 5, 1929 and passed away August 12, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Vernie and Nannie Angle Robertson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel H. Martin and brother, William (Billy) Robertson.

Elizabeth retired in 1984 after 37 years of service with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (ASCS). She was a devoted member of the Rocky Mount United Methodist Church and the Rocky Mount United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her niece, Debra R. Taylor (Cliff) of Stanleytown; grand-nephew Robert Purdy; and special friends June and Jerry Altice. She is also survived by her husband's eight nieces and nephews and their families.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 11:00 a.m. Monday with Pastor Will Waller officiating. Her family will be receiving friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home (Town Chapel) 140 Floyd Ave., Rocky Mount, VA.
