Virginia graduated from Firth High School. On June 15, 1948 she married Luane Jackson in Idaho Falls. After their marriage Virginia and Luane lived in New Sweden and Idaho Falls before settling in Rockford in the early 1970s. Virginia worked at the Rockford cafe and loved helping her husband in their flooring business. Virginia was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was also a member of the "Twilight Twirler" square dancing group and bowled with a bowling league. Virginia enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards and games, and baking. She loved spending time with her family. Virginia is survived by her children, Gary (Nicki) Jackson of Blackfoot, Marlene (Gerry) Geil of Mackay, Brent Jackson of Blackfoot, Jerry (Veronica) Jackson of Blackfoot, and Brian (Marty) Jackson of Blackfoot; 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; precedied by sons Dinny, Donny, and Steven Jackson; parents, Ernest and Aletha Sjoberg; brother Bonnie Gray. Her family thanked Symbii Hospice and staff at Bingham Extended Care for their care and compassion. Funeral service held Saturday, August 21
