Mary Marie Sharp passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, at the age of 76. She was born March 26, 1945, in Bogalusa, LA to Shelton James and Elizabeth Ward James.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Ike Sharp, and daughter, Wanda Rogers. She is also survived by her two grandsons, Kerry Rogers and Alex Rogers, and their spouses; and four great-grandchildren, Payton Rogers, Bryson Rogers, Alexas Rogers, and Aubree Rogers. Mary leaves behind her sister, Martha Ann Fairburn, and many more relatives and friends.
Mary is predeceased by her parents and son, Curtis Wayne Sharp.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and again on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA.
