Jerry Lee Richardson was born in 1957 in Olney, Texas to Jessie Lee and Clarence Richardson. He grew up near Elbert on a farm overlooking the Brazos river in Throckmorton county. Jerry graduated from Olney High School in 1985 and attended Texas A&M University, Class of '79. He was an Ag Engineer and began working for Halliburton Services following graduation. He worked at the Wichita Falls camp for a couple of years, then transferred to Snyder. Next he moved to Jacksboro and remained there until his retirement after 25 years. He continued his work as an expert engineering consultant for the next 10 years in the North Texas area.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gordon Richardson and sister-in-law Judi of Wichita Falls, and sister-in-law Marsha Richardson of Newcastle.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jeanne, his daughters, Jenna Lee and husband Matt Baker of Aubrey, and Jessica and husband Chaz Jeske of Rosharon. He leaves two grandchildren, Corban and Lynnlee Baker, and two soon-to-be granddaughters, Caina Jeske and Elaina Baker. He is also survived by two brothers, Larry Richardson of Newcastle, Jack Richardson and wife Cathy of Big Spring; a sister-in-law, Leona Lear of Southgate, Michigan; 7 nieces and nephews and their spouses; and 8 great nieces and nephews.
Jerry passed away Sunday, August 15th at the United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls after a battle with lung, heart, and kidney issues. He will be missed but never forgotten.
