William Douglas Walters, 85, born in Anderson County, SC, passed away on August 12, 2021.
William was a son of the late Alford Loring Walters and the late Avis Corine Isom Walters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Leisha Carol Walters, sister, Raye Walters Bost, and brother, Kendell Roy Walters.
He was a pillar of the Anderson community for over 50 years and loved by many. He will be greatly missed.
William leaves behind his loving wife, Patsy Hipps Walters, children; William Thomas Walters (Lesia), MiKayla Walters Roper (Kevin), Tyler W. Walters (Brittany) and Isaac Pruitt. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Madison, Monroe, Hamilton, and Hadley, three sisters, one brother, and several Godchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in The Maple Room at The Standard.
