Michael was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps from 1975-1979. He was a Staff Sergeant and worked as a helicopter mechanic. During his time in the service he earned: Pistol/Rifle Sharpshooter, National Defense Service Award, Good Conduct, Meritorious Mast, Meritorious Unit Commendation and Naval Aircrew Insignia. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, napping, watching Sci-Fi movies and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was ornery and enjoyed picking on us and knew how to make us laugh. Most of all he was loving, caring, giving and much more. He will forever be in his family's heart and never forgotten.
