Joshua Aaron Kelly was born August 20, 1981 in Hugo, CO to Nora Lynette (Johnson) Kelly and Leon Austin Kelly. He was welcomed home by his sister Jamie Marie.

After his parents' divorce, his stepmom Susan (Wood) Kelly entered his life. Josh spent time in both his Limon and Hugo homes. He enjoyed both the country life and small town atmosphere. Josh went to school in Limon, and graduated high school May 22, 1999. He was active in sports throughout the years, lettering in wrestling. He also excelled in music, and was first chair in Trumpet in high school. He loved woodworking, and received many ribbons at the Industrial Arts fairs. He also worked for his father at Plains Heating and Air Conditioning in Limon.

Josh went to college at UNC in Greeley, and started working for an HVAC company there. He decided to move back to Hugo and work for his dad's company full time. Josh was a very skilled HVAC technician. Throughout the years he took many Nate certification tests, passing each one. He took his Contractor A license test in El Paso County, passing on the first try, which he was told did not happen often.

In 2003 Josh met Heather Lynn Hollowell in Hugo, CO. They welcomed their first child Jayden Garrick in January 2005. They moved to their home outside of Falcon, CO shortly after. Josh managed the Calhan Branch of Plains Heating starting in 2006. Josh and Heather were married June 30, 2007 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church in Colorado Springs, CO. They welcomed their first daughter Elysa Taye in April 2008. Heather started working with Josh at Plains Heating soon after. The Plains Heating office in Calhan moved to the Peyton area in early 2014. Shortly after Josh and Heather welcomed their youngest daughter Kaitlyn Ann that March. Josh took pride in his work, and was very passionate about it.

Josh loved music. He spent as much of his time listening to music as he could. So many hours were spent dancing and singing with Heather and his children. He like to fish and spend time on the lake with his boat. Many fun times were had with his family and friends throughout the years on the lake. He also liked watching movies and playing video games with them. Josh was known to be very loud when having fun. He had a great personality, and could always make you laugh. He loved watching hockey and Nascar. John Elway will always be his favorite football player. He was also a very good cook. Josh had a strong faith in God, and he was baptized in the High Plains Baptist Church in Limon his Senior year of high school.
