Timothy Wayne Phillips, age 65 of Ellijay, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Bertha Phillips; brothers, Joe Phillips, Melvin Phillips, Ronnie Phillips; sisters, Juanese Garner, Barbara Jean Hays, Laverene Beaslley, Sandra Duke. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Phillips; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Ty Reagan; grandsons, Jacob Austin Reagan, Trenton Gage Reagan; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Carol Phillips; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley Hays, Donnie and Basil Owen, Mary Jennings, Sheila and Jim Ogle. Tim was married to his loving wife, Bonnie, for 50 years. He was an ordained minister, a hard worker and a charitable man. Tim enjoyed building his last home, football, the beach and fitness. He was able to do one thing that most people could only imagine, and that was carry the torch in the Olympic Games. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel; interment will follow at East View Cemetery, 1127 East View Road, Conyers, GA 30012.
