M. Timothy Fisher, 66, of Lewistown, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at his home.

Born Jan. 25, 1955, in Granville, he was a son of the late Merle and Emily (Vogt) Fisher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a brother, Dyson Fisher, sister-in-law, Linda Fisher; brother-in-law, Craig Camp; and nephew, Justin Henry.

Tim is survived by: wife, Vale Ann (Spigelmyer) Fisher, whom he married Feb. 7, 1976; sons, Jeremy Fisher, of Dauphin, and Matthew Fisher, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Dylan and Olivia Fisher; eight siblings, Louis Fisher and wife, Esta, of Lancaster, Lucinda Whistler and husband, Gary, of Carlisle, Mary Henry and husband, Marv, of McVeytown, Lois Cole and husband, Wayne, of Mechanicsburg, Ruth Varner and husband, William, of Lewistown, Sarah Hill and husband, Mark, of Granville, Rebecca Gerhart and husband, David, of Lancaster, and Daniel Fisher and wife, Jen, of Lewistown; sister-in-law, Sharon Roberts and husband, Don; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was a graduate of Penn Highlands High School, Lewistown Campus, Class of 1972.

Tim was a member of Granville United Methodist Church.

He was employed by J.M. Young and Sons, Belleville, Houck Services in Linglestown, and lastly, as a supervisor at Scrap Trade, LLC, in Ohio. He retired in April 2021.

Tim enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing at Howard Lake and riding snowmobiles. He was a farmer and a 4-H leader in his earlier years and later enjoyed helping his grandchildren with their 4-H projects.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 North Main Street, Lewistown.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Hill officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tim's memory to Mifflin County Penn State Extension, 4-H Youth Development, 152 East Market Street, Suite 100, Lewistown, PA 17044.
