Services for Danette, 74, retired LVN, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ryan Tyler Wood officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Lacy Funeral Home.
Danette was born in Monahans, Texas on December 24, 1944 to the late, Daniel and Dorothy Matlock. She married Donald Wood on August 10, 1961, in Richland Springs. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her kids.
Danette is survived by her husband, Don Wood; her children, Delese Kleibrink, and husband, Cam; James Dewayne Wood, and wife, Susan; Dana Leigh Wood; and Lt. Col. Michael Mullins, Retired, and wife Sherry; granddaughters, Brooke, and husband, Philip; Madison, and husband, Dillon; and Makenna; grandsons, Ryan, and wife, Amy; Zachary, Jace, Ragan, Ben and Max; great grandchildren, Colt, Olivia, Charlie, Ryan Rose, Logan, Reagan, and Presley.
Danette is preceded in death by her son, Donnie Wood; parents, Daniel and Dorothy Matlock; and brother, Dale Matlock.
