TRUMANN - (published May 22-25, 2021)
Brenda Sue "Granny Sue" Hawkins, 72, of Trumann departed this life on Thursday, May 20, at the family residence. She was born in Jonesboro and lived in Trumann and formerly of Jonesboro.

Brenda was a former employee of Columbia Forrest and Al's BBQ and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and her parents, Richard and Grace Elizabeth Buie Holladay.

She is survived by one daughter, Kelly Mooneyham of Trumann; one son, Bobby Holladay of Trumann; one sister, Linda Plamondon of Linden Mich.; two brothers, Raymond Holladay of Jonesboro and Roman Holladay of Lafe; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held Sunday afternoon at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Josh Odom officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg.

Pallbearers will be Cody Mooneyham, Hunter Holladay, Landon Holladay, Camryn Chambers, Alex Moses, Chris McCormick, Chris Fairbanks, Ryan Broadway. Honorary pallbearers will be Ellisabeth Holladay, Brianna Mooneyham, Brooklynn Chambers, Emma Colburn, Marshal Holladay and Maddie Colburn.

In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing will be required along with a mask or other facial covering is required, and the signing of a COVID-19 acknowledgement form.
