Timothy Ray Bishop, age 52 of Lyles, TN passed on Monday, August 16, 2021 at his home. He was born on March 25, 1969 in Dickson, TN to the late Herman Duane and Dorothy Ann Goins Bishop. Timmy was baptized in the Bear Creek Emmanuel Church of Christ. He loved to go camping with his wife, Mamie, who passed in November of 2020.

Survivors include his son: Harley Shelley of Nunnelly, TN; his brothers: Steve Bishop (Mattie) and Bobby Bishop (Jan) both of Lyles, TN; his sisters: Kathy Murrell (Chris) of Centerville, Lisa Tarkington, Debbie Carr, and Tracey Dawson (Ron) all of Lyles, Valerie McCoy (Randy) and Melissa Myatt (Donald) both of Bon Aqua; one granddaughter: Navaeh; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Sister Shirley Goins officiating. Place of Rest will be in the Bon Aqua Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation with the family will take place on Friday from 12 noon until the time of service.
