He was a member of Lincoln Trail Baptist Church. He retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Gertrude Lawson Morris.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Blake Morris; one son, Ron Morris of Hartselle, AL; one grandson, Devin Lee (Olivia) Wilson; two brothers, Phillip Morris of Michigan and Kenny Morris of Indiana and several step brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 12:30 p.m at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff with Pastor Jeff Davis officiating.
