Francisco Javier Martinez, 45, of Burkburnett, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021.
The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Burkburnett, Texas. Rite of Committal will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
Francisco was born on September 15, 1976 in Mexico to Luis Martinez and Maria Perez. On December 13, 1996 he married the love of his life, Irene Martinez. Francisco worked in the construction business for numerous years. He enjoyed drag car racing and was a wonderful mechanic. His true passion in life was his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Martinez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Irene Martinez of Burkburnett; father, Luis Martinez of Mexico; his children, Ana Martinez and husband Jacob Pelsue, Diana Martinez and husband Colton Parker, Maria Martinez and husband Seth Lippert all of Wichita Falls, and Karen Martinez of Burkburnett; three sisters and four brothers; his grandchildren, Dante Martinez, Harrison Pelsue, Jackson Parker, and Liam Lippert; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
