Christopher "Chris" Todd Hart, 39, of Churubusco, passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2021.

He was born in Fort Wayne, on January 3, 1982, to Tony and Dodie (Sherman) Hart. He spent his formative years in Wolf Lake.

Chris worked at StarCraft Bus and also spent some time at Reelcraft. His passion was helping others and that was evident in the years he spent as a coach for the Whitley County Special Olympics.

He was an avid bowler. He bowled four 300 games and one 800 series that earned him five rings. He also enjoyed playing pool and often played in tournaments.

Chris was a family man and will be missed by all. His children were his pride and joy and he will live on through them forever.

Chris is survived by his sons, Landon Hart, Jason Hart and Aidan Tarr; the daughter of his heart, Felicity Rain Herendeen; his parents, Tony and Dodie Hart; his sister, Kelli (Bill) Brenneke; his brother, Anthony Allen Adams; his grandfather, Ronald "Joe" Hart; his three nephews; Dalton & Dakota Brenneke and Aidenn Adams; many aunts and uncles and tons of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Tanya Mae Hart; his maternal grandparents, Les and Lore Lee Sherman; his paternal grandma, Carolyn Hart.

Services will take place at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home, Churubusco Chapel on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. with calling one hour prior to the service.

The family will also receive friends on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Burial taking place at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.
