Billy Joe Bowman, 70, of Eolia passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Billy was the son of the late Delbert and Goldie Coots Bowman. Surviving are his wife Pamela Joyce Raleigh Bowman; 2 daughters: Moaneek Sexton of Isom, and Andrea Holland of Whitesburg; 1 brother: Cecil Bowman of Kentucky; 3 sisters: Dorothy Shepherd of Cumberland, Betty Maggard of Lexington, and Doris Gibson of Redfox; 5 grandchildren: Nicholas Brock of Tennessee, Jessica Collins of Isom, Noah Brock of Whitesburg, Anna Fields of Seco, and Macy Pennington of Whitesburg; 5 great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Creech officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Raleigh Cemetery at Partridge, Kentucky.
