Myrna Rae Young 84, of Stinesville, IN, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 15, 2021 with her family by her side. Born May 13, 1937 in Clay City, IN she was the daughter of Lyman and Edna (Whitman) Taylor.

Myrna worked at Indiana University for many years and retired in 1993. Myrna was a member of the Lifeway Baptist Church for 47 years, and she was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother.

Myrna enjoyed spending time with her family, she loved talking about Jesus and witnessing to her friends and family. She loved reading bible to friends in the nursing home. She also sewed and quilted blankets for her family and she had a passion for books.

Myrna is survived by her Children Ronald Young (Juneanne), Charles L. Young (Beverly) and Sandra Robertson (Stanley); Brother Lyman Taylor; Sister Ginny Curts; 9 Grandchildren Christopher Young, Bobby Pockett, Matthew Pockett (Heather), Jena Breeden, (CJ), Kelsey Sloan (Tyler), Kacy Deaton (Brad), Sarah Nichols, Margo Huskey and Jeanna Zajicek (Jeremy); and 14 Great Grandchildren Conner Pockett, Christopher Young, JR, Isabella and Jackson Breeden, Sutton, Solan, Kadin and Jamison Nichols, Andersen Huskey, Brone, Charlee, Natalie, Judah, Eli, and Thea Zajicek.

Myrna was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Charles Young, Son Donald Young, Daughter Deidra Young, Sister Laura Comstock and her Brother Norman (Skeet) Taylor.

Funeral Services for Myrna will be Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Lifeway Baptist Church at 1:00 pm with Rev. Lyman Taylor officiating. Visitation is at the church from 11:00 am to time of service on Thursday. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City, Indiana.
