He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 1, 1957.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Len Arthur and Annie Elizabeth Dean Railey and a sister, Susan Patricia Railey on April 29, 2016.
He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a graduate of Washington County High School and a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include three daughters, Nadia Browne (David) of Elizabethtown, Kimberly McKinney (Julian) and Anisha Dean of Prattville, AL; two sons, Michael Lee Dean, Jr. of San Diego, CA and Michael Lamont Hamilton of Springfield; seventeen grandchildren; three sisters, Carla Lynne Dean of Frankfort, Cecilia Catherine Railey of Louisville and Mary Paul Soileau of Springfield and three brothers, James David Railey (Sylvia) of Louisville, Joseph Daniel Railey (Marcello) of Chicago and Stephen Patrick Railey (Tanja) of Danville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 23rd at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Edmund Ditton, officiating.
Burial will be in the Lebanon National Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Railey, Joseph Railey, Stephen Railey, George Hurrigan, Tommy Spalding and David Browne.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 Sunday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
