Mrs. Murk was born Dec. 11,1925,at Miltonvale,the daughter of Forrest and Ellen (Bloomdahl)Barckley. She was a homemaker and member of First Lutheran Church (Swedesburg) north of Clay Center.
She married Gustaf Edward Murk at Ellsworth and he preceded her in death March 4,1974.
Survivors include four daughters,Gloria Hodgemire of Kalamazoo,Mich.,Alice Gepner-Wilcoxson of Clay Center,Marla Geiger of Central City,Neb.,and Peggy Boggs of Riley; a sister,Goldie Prater of Colorado Springs,Colo.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at10:30a.m. Thursday at Holmes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley with the Rev. Nile Buch officiating. Burial will be in Mariadahl Cemetery at Olsburg.
Friends may call anytime Wednesday at the funeral home.
