Gary grew up in Danville Illinois. He was awarded an Eagle Scout Award, which he worked so hard for. He always had a huge compassion for outdoors and his love for animals. One being his pet raccoon, little Moses, who followed him everywhere. Piper was his latest little companion he loved so much! Gary graduated from DHS class of 1974. He was also a big fan of the Illini teams. Gary loved being outside, working on the golf course, with his Turtle Run family. He enjoyed playing golf with his Dad, family, and friends. He also loved gardening. He was always counting his tomatoes, making sure Janelle wasn't giving too many away. He liked watching golf and the food networks on TV. He loved when people would stop by and join him in his man cave (garage) in the afternoons, right Sam? Gary was the best big brother anyone could ask for! His brother Grant considered him his best friend. He was the most loving and caring son to his Mom. He also was the best Dad to Carrie, Jordan, and Jeremy, whom he loved as his own. And most of all he was a very loving and devoted husband to his wife Janelle.

We love you so much and will miss your sweet smile. Until we meet again.
