Donald Lee Harrison, Jr. "Harry-O", age 68 of Ocean Springs, Mississippi passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Singing River Hospital.
He was born June 23, 1953 in Calexico, CA to Donald Harrison, Sr. and Katherine White Harrison. He graduated from Northern Burlington High School, New Jersey and served in the Air Force from 1975 until 1995.
While serving in the military, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, Air Force Commendation Medal, and Southwest Asia Service Medal.
He was retired Air Force and retired VA Civil Service and enjoyed basketball and working on cars.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Donald Harrison, Sr; and sibling, Garry Harrison.
He is survived by his spouse, Tawana Harrsion; mother, Katherine Harrison; children, Garry Brown, Jennifer (Terrance) Freeman, Jeanine Brown, Donald Harrison III, Deidre Harrison- McClain, and Daneile Harrison ; siblings, Alan Harrison, Krystal Harrison, Kevin (Lorraine) Harrison, and Shawn Harrison; grandchildren, Paris, Dalondre, Diamond, Dhasha, Asha, Devonte, and Devion; and great-grandchild, Leoni.
The family would like to thank friends, family, and our church.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a service at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 all at Gulf Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church in Woolmarket with a burial to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
A reception will then follow at Gulf Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church at 3:30 p.m.
