Audrey C. Smith, age 95 formerly of Cambridge, Ohio, passed away on June 14, 2021 in North Carolina. She was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on February 8, 1926, a daughter of the late William Edward Knecht and Eva (Anderson) Knecht.
Audrey had been involved with music her entire life. She played the piano and organ for churches, choirs, and singing groups. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Cambridge. She had been a secretary at NCR and also a volunteer at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.
Audrey was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Ronald E. Smith on April 2, 1991; a brother Vernon Knecht, and two sisters Evelyn Brieter and Vera Christopherson.
Surviving are: three daughters, Joan (Duane) Ege of Grand Marais, Minnesota, Damaris (Ron) Schepmann of Holyrood, Kansas and Kristy (Gordon) Crump of Winston Salem, North Carolina; a son David R. (Kim) Smith of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, a sister Audriane Giles of Kansas City and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
