Rex A. Nelson, 66, of Lamar, CO., formerly of Sioux City, IA., passed away on Tues, 6 July 2021, at his home after a long battle of lung cancer with family by his side.
There will be a memorial picnic in his honor starting at 1 p.m. Sat. with a service at 3 p.m. at Riverside Park Pavilion #4. All are welcome. Food & bottled water will be provided. Come celebrate the life of this wonderful & amazing man. We would like to hear any fond memories you have.
He is survived by his brother, Robert D. Nelson St.; sister, Kathy J. Houck; daughters, April A. Nelson, Amy J. (Tracy) Sands, & Brianna J. Wollet; sons, Adam Nelson & Branden O'Brien; granddaughters, Jade, Abigail, Christina & Ashley; grandsons, Ethan, Chris, Cody, Kurt, Gabe & Aaron; great-grandbabies, Austyn, Adalyn, & Calimae; numerous nieces, nephews & great nieces & nephews.
