Kathleen "Kathy" Becker, 53 of Clifton Avenue died Thursday April 2, 2015 at home. Born July 23, 1961 in Kingston, she is the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Wingert) Becker.
Kathy was most recently employed by Astor Services for Children & Families in Rhinebeck. Previously she worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company as a clerk. She also worked for the American Cancer Society, involved in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks and fundraising for the Relay for Life; she could make one hell of a balloon arch. She enjoyed gardening, photography especially taking photos of sunrises and sunsets and vacationing.
Surviving are her sisters and brothers, Patricia Beaver and her husband Joe of Alplaus, New York, Jack Becker and his wife Brenda, Sandy Becker, Robert "Fred" Becker and his wife Kathy all of Kingston; her godson, Robert Becker and great friend, Bonnie Buckman. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends also survive.
In addition to her parents, a sister, Jill Becker died in 1980 and a brother, James "Jimmy" Becker died in 2002.
