Frank Erbe, 38, of Maple Street, Mahanoy City, died this morning at his home after an illness of several years. He was a former resident of Frackville.
Born in Frackville, he was a son of the late Valentine and Myrtle Erbe. He had been a resident of Mahanoy City for the past 15 years. His wife, the former Anna Lukach, preceded him in death five years ago.
He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Frackville.
Surviving are three children: Anna, Catherine and Frank, all of whom are living with their maternal grandmother, Mrs. Stephen Lukach, of Mahanoy City; four sisters: Mrs. Charles Scott, Mrs. Paul Brown, and Mrs. Cora Miller, all of Frackville; and Mrs. Jean Dennis of Columbus, GA; and six brothers: John and Charles of Frackville; Leonard of Mahanoy City; William of Fort Belvoir, VA; Oscar of Patterson, NJ; and George in the U.S. Army stationed at Las Vegas, NV.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced. Nice Funeral Home, of Frackville, is the funeral director.
