Doloryce Katherine Williams, 97, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on February 26, 1924. She is the daughter of Roy D. and Leona (Bloomer) Orgain. She went to hold the hand of her Lord and Savior on August 14, 2021.
Doloryce worked as a registered nurse at the Elk City Hospital for many years. She loved helping others.
She enjoyed reading, completing on word searches, taking walks, reading her bible, but most of all she enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When not watching the kids she also loved drinking mocha, and watching tv especially Lawrence Welk. In her younger years she enjoyed crocheting and quilting.
Doloryce was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Elk City, Oklahoma. She was baptized at Eastside Baptist Church in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Canute Cemetery, Canute, Oklahoma. Laura Nell Hayes will officiate.
Cherishing her memory is son Daniel Lynn Williams and his wife, Amanda of Carrollton, Texas; daughter, Dian Leona Banks and her significant other, Kevin Childs of Elk City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Sarah Rhiannon Ferrel, Jessica Dian Hosler, and William Cody Hosler all of Denver, Colorado, Taryn Leigh Ferrel of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Katherine Rose Robinson and her husband, Anthony of Elk City, Oklahoma, Tina Arndt of Dallas, Texas, Chad Major and his wife, Mandy of Argyle, Texas, Galen Major of Commanche, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Patience Leona Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas, Ethan Joseph Banks of Elk City, Oklahoma, Tristan Blair Hosler , Kalyn Dian Rose Hosler, and Chaya Louise Hosler all of Denver, Colorado, Kyler Hosler of Elk City, Oklahoma, D'Aysiah Leigh Major of Carrollton, Texas, Payton Lee Major, and Chad Jaxson Major both of Argyle, Texas; several other family member of whom she loved dearly.
A special thanks to Comforting Hands Hospice, and caregivers, Janice Meshew and Michelle Morgan.
Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Leona Orgain; daughter, Donna Louise Williams; grandson, Christopher Stone; five brothers, and one sister.
