OBIT: Services for Ruby Aust Bennett, 87, of Greenwood, who died Sunday, April 10, 1994, at Pemberton Manor Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Williams and Lord Funeral Home. Mrs. Bennett, a Noxubee County native, had lived in Leflore County most of her life. She had been a resident of Pemberton Manor for more than a year. She was a homemaker and member of Schlater Methodist Church. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Doffie Bennett. Survivors include three daughters, Frances Lott of Greenwood, Erlene House of Columbus, and Mae Blackwell of Rome, Miss.; three brothers, George Aust and Lonnie Aust, both of Itta Bena, and Paul Aust of Clearwater, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren...Burial will be in McNutt Cemetery in Schlater.
