THOMAS- Wanda Lee Thomas, age 76 of Commerce, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Marty Cason will officiate. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. Mrs. Thomas started working in 1979 with the Gwinnett County Transportation Department with over 30 years of service. She was a member of Mt Vernon Baptist Church in Lawrenceville and a member of the Lavonia Pilot Club. Wanda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Clayton Thomas in 2006 and her parents, Thomas Lamar & Mary Nell (Cochran) Cox. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Wendy & Bruce Morgan of Commerce; son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Sheila Thomas of Carlton; grandchildren, Mesha Beck, Lindsay & Thomas Shiretzki, Summer & Andrew Malik, Janie & Robert Stevenson, Logan Thomas; great-grandchildren, Hailey Beck, Nevaeh Shiretzki, Leland Beck, Kaydence Shiretzki, Ayden Beck, Nataleigh Stevenson, Verity Stevenson, Vance Stevenson, Evelyn Stevenson and Luke Malik.
