Donna Sue Phillips, 69, passed away on August 14, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Tell City on June 14, 1952.

Donna was a 1970 graduate of Cannelton High School and retired from Masterbrand Cabinets in Ferdinand. Donna will be remembered for her caring spirit and loving nature, although head strong and stubborn. She would gladly help anyone that she could. She loved to spend time with her family; as they were her world. She adored her daughter, Chasity and was so proud of her grandchildren. She loved caring for her plants, her Yorkies, especially Montana, designer purses, watching QVC and enjoyed ordering Iron Gate Pizza, where she also waitressed.

Surviving is her daughter, Chasity Sosh and husband, Keith, Owensboro; her grandchildren, Tristan and Alexis Sosh, Owensboro; step granddaughter, Hannah Sosh, Owensboro; a brother, Terry Phillips, Tell City and sister, Darlene Schneider (Mike), Tell City and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert and Betty (Scales) Reed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
