Puyallup, Washington - Yvette was born on June 7, 1927 in Chaumont, France to Mary Leon and Matilda Recouvreur. She was the 3rd of 8 children (Manette, Marcelle, Ginette, Robert, Claude, Paule, and Annick). Yvette served in the cafeteria for Bonney Lake schools for over 30 years and was an avid volunteer at the Sumner Senior Center. She was married to James Young on June 8, 1946; he predeceased her in 1985. Yvette lived in Bonney Lake for the last 57 years. She leaves behind her children: Ginette Mitchell and Joel (Diana) Young. Grandchildren: Derek (Jami) Scholz, Danielle (Mike) Kaiser, and Cody (Marie) Young. Great grandchildren: Taitum, Charlee, Kenedi, and Emery Scholz. And Siblings: Ginette (92) and Annick (80). Yvette loved to socialize with others, knit, and feed the local wild life. No funeral service is planned at her request.
