Born on July 28th, 1939, in Rhinebeck, NY, he was the son of the late Harold and Thora (Pedersen) Conley. Tommy served in the United States Army.
For many years, he worked as a Pressman with Western Printing based in Poughkeepsie, NY. Tommy also worked in security for IBM's Kingston and Fishkill plants.
While his family and friends meant the world to him, Tommy's passion was the outdoors. Active in pursuit of sharing his passions, Tommy was an active life member of the Red Hook Rod & Gun Club, and the Cokertown Rod & Gun Club, both in Red Hook, NY.
He is survived by his four children, Kathy (Allan) Jennings of Red Hook, NY, Mary (James) Strieder of Red Hook, NY, Thomas (Amy) Conley of Lee Center, NY , & Cindy (Mike) Blum of Tivoli, NY; a brother Harold Conley of Sound Beach, NY; his grandchildren, Kyle (Jess "Peanut") Jennings, Philip (Jess) Strieder, Matthew (Alina) Strieder, Sean Conley, Jack Conley, Ian Conley, Lauren Blum, & Owen Blum; his two great grandchildren, Charlotte Strieder, & Kensley Jennings; his two close friends, Lloyd Kellerhouse & Eddie Thompson; along with extended family, friends, and colleagues.
