Greg was a 1985 graduate of Jacksboro High School and a 1989 graduate of Tarleton State University. He married the love of his life and soulmate, Jenilynn Barefield, on July 25, 1992 at the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro, Texas. He was the owner of GAL Horticulture Services in Jacksboro. Greg thoroughly enjoyed everything about the outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, watching sunrises or sunsets, or working with cattle. Among those who will forever cherish his memory are his wife Jenilynn and son Landon of Jacksboro; siblings Gevern Lewis and wife Ronda of Cundiff, Lynette Shelton and husband Ricky of Longview, and Laurie Plaster of Graham, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
