FITCHBURG - Larry B. Freng, age 78, of Fitchburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare after living with dementia. He was born on Aug. 12, 1943, in Warren, Minn., the son of Nels and Lillian (Mohn) Freng.
Larry graduated from Madison East High School in 1961 and Madison Business College years later. He was united in marriage to Gloria Holz on Jan. 28, 1972, in Black Creek, Wis. Larry worked as an accountant for Badger Coach Bus Services for 33 years, retiring in 2001. Larry enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing softball, making model cars, playing sheepshead with his buddies, and camping with his family. He also loved working on, and driving, his collector cars. Despite his physical disabilities, he never let that get in his way, and always had a smile on his face. He was a wonderful dad, husband, brother, and papa. Larry liked to spend his free time on the "bubble" at Alt'n Bach's where he was an avid fan of watching all Packers, Badgers and Brewers games. GO PACK!
