Judy Dixie Duckett Sanford, Age 78 of Ellijay, GA, passed on Friday, August 13, 2021. Judy was born February 15, 1943, in Dalton, GA, to her late parents, Ernest and Lillie Mae (Sisson) Duckett. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and retired as Manager of Country Cupboard Stores of Ellijay. Judy was predeceased by her husband Edward Lewis Sanford, sisters Betty Jarbo, brothers Paul, Glenn and Ralph Duckett. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Tena and Vic Stewart, Ellijay, GA, son Eddie Lamar Sanford, Ellijay, GA, grandchildren Eddie Sanford II, Kennedi Sanford Fendley, Ian Stewart, Thomas Davis, Tanner Davis, Dylan Stewart, great-grandchildren Violet Fendley, Payton Fendley, Paxton Fendley, Ellie Stewart, Carter Stewart, Parker Davis, Blakely Davis, brother Walter (Betty) Sisson, Augusta, GA, sister-in-law Wanda Lynn Duckett, Blue Ridge, GA, Virginia Sanford, Ellijay, GA, Pat Sanford, Ellijay, GA Visitation will be on Sunday, August 15, 2021, from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 15, 2021, at the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Jones officiating. Music will be provided by Jadie Lee. Eddie Sanford II, Thomas Davis, Tanner Davis, Ian Stewart, Dylan Stewart, Jordan Fendley and Kennedi Fendley serving as pall bearers.
