Richard Harrell Patterson, 59, passed away August 12, 2021 in College Station, Texas. He was born April 3, 1962 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents, Willie "Pat" Patterson and Ann Dawson.

Ricky had been a resident of Leon County for the past eighteen years and worked as a lead mechanic for NRG. Even when not at work, Ricky did not believe in letting idle hands go to waste and was always working on a project. He especially enjoyed being outdoors and working the land or working on vehicles. He was a "neat freak" by nature and never let a week go by without washing his truck. Ricky was an avid baseball fan and claimed the Houston Astros as his favorite team. When he wasn't cheering on the Astros, Ricky could be found watching his children play softball.

Ricky was a genuine family man and completely devoted to his loving wife, Ronnie, of thirty-one years. He also enjoyed quality time spent with his children and beloved grandchildren, as well.

Ricky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Allen & Lucille Patterson and maternal grandparents, William & Letha "Lanee" Dawson.
