Dr. B. Tillman Hall passed away peacefully at his home Friday, August 13, 2021, at age 93. Dr. Hall was born in Crockett County, Tennessee.


A Christian man and member of the First Baptist Church of Clarksville Tennessee; he is survived by his loving wife Linda Hardy Hall, son Captain William Michael Hall (USN Ret) (Janet), daughter Pamela Hall Seay (James), and son Alan Tillman Hall (Beth). His additional legacy includes 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and the lives of those whose lives he touched as a physician and as a friend.


Dr. Hall was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Medical School in Memphis, Tennessee with a Doctorate in General Medicine. He began his practice of medicine as a Family Practitioner in Roanoke, Alabama. He then practiced as an Anesthesiologist at Clarksville Memorial Hospital (Gateway) from 1962 - 1999. Dr. Hall served as Chief of Staff at Memorial Hospital, and Past-President of the Tennessee Society of Anesthesiologist and Montgomery County Medical Society. Dr. Hall concluded his 50 plus years of medical practice as anesthesiologist for oral surgeon, Dr. John Gunn, DMD.


He was an avid sailor, bridge player, and chess enthusiast, with a passion for learning.


A humble observer and listener, he was known for providing timely, meaningful and valued wisdom to all in his company, in addition to his calming presence, sharp intuition, and quick wit.


With his children and grandchildren, he instilled strong character, values, and work ethic. Most importantly, he was the foundation and spiritual leader of his family.


A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 17, at 2:00 PM, at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery West, in Hopkinsville. A funeral procession with depart at 1:00 PM from Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home for those wishing to join and pay respects. The service will be officiated Pat Van Dyke, Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church, Clarksville, Tennessee.
