Yvonne Parks, 97, passed away January 8, 2021 from natural causes. She was born October 17, 1923 in Fresno, CA to the late Frank and Daisy Boyle.
She met and later married Milton James Parks in Santa Ana, CA on November 6, 1943. They later moved to Dallas where their daughter was born.
Yvonne was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Dallas for over 60 years. She was very active in the Women of the Church, Circle 9, and was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a member of the Allman Class. Yvonne was also a member of the Greenway Garden Club, Bay View Century Club, and also spent many years working the apparel market for the Henry Lee Showroom. She enjoyed traveling the world with Milton. She also enjoyed many hours of needlework and other crafts. She loved attending her grandkids' activities, her card games with friends and weekly "Lunch Bunch" get together. Her great humor and infectious laugh will be missed by everyone. Although dementia robbed her of her memory, her sense of humor lasted until the end.
Survived by her daughter, Suzanne, grand children and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for the family will be held at a later date...RFH
