Audrey Janet Bishop, 87, passed away on Oct. 3, 2013. Audrey was a longtime resident of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and born in Tuscaloosa, Ala. She worked for the City of Fort Walton Beach for 28 years and through the years made long lasting friends. Her door was always open and there was never a stranger in her eyes. She was the strongest and kindest woman and kept her family and friends in constant smiles with her wit and sense of humor. Her family called her Petey and she was a rock for us all. Audrey is survived by her four daughters, Kae Cook, Anita Knight, Renee Sharp and Barbara Dinnes; her younger brother, Scott, aka Stotty Eads; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Petey will forever remain in the hearts of so many.
A memorial service will be held at McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Ave. S.E., Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548, on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Jude's.
