Born, Martha Jean Wash to Dock Wash and Lucille Wash, on July 13th 1941, she was raised with 14 siblings. QJ, as she was called by her friends and family, married George Thompson in Tologa, Mississippi. He preceded her in death.
QJ enjoyed playing Bingo, gathering with friends to plays cards, cooking, but most of all caring for others. She raised and cared for many family members and friends.
