Ralph E. Clark Sr., 99, of Sterling passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 in Sterling. Private family graveside services will be at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 11 am Saturday, August 21 at the Sterling Berean Church with Pastor Dan Holsten officiating.

Ralph was born on January 11, 1922 in Brattleboro, Vermont to Charles and Myrtie Bell (Heath) Clark. He graduated high school in Brattleboro. He worked most of his life on a poultry farm, and also a turkey hatchery and shipping/receiving at a plastics factory. He married Henrietta Marvel Hitchcock on November 6, 1943 in West Brattleboro, VT. They were married for 68 years until her passing on April 4, 2012. He enjoyed gardening, reading, and feeding all of his birds.

Ralph is survived by son Basil (Cora) Clark, son Daniel (Marsha) Clark, daughter Paula (Keith) Kempton, son Joseph (Thomas) Clark; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marvel, parents Charles and Myrtie, son Ralph E. Clark Jr., and brother Floyd W. Clark.
