Pamela Louise Bates went to be with her Lord on August 11, 2021.

She was born on October 24, 1953 to Margaret and Glen Bates.

Pam graduated from Alvin High School and enjoyed playing the clarinet in the high school band and being in the Girl Scouts. She enjoyed doing embroidery, latch hook rugs, listening to music, watching movies, video games, and walking. She lived at Noah's House for the last five years of her life and enjoyed participating in the activities there. She loved spending time with all of her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother William L. Bates.

She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Wigley, Sue Kelso, and Peggy Anders, nieces, Jamie Wigley, Amber Anderson (Mark), Crystal Chadwick (Robert), and nephews, Karl Kelso (Phuong) and Christopher Parks, great nieces, Tinsley Anderson, Madison Chadwick, Ellie Chadwick, Katherine Kelso, Kaylee Kelso, and great nephews, Noah Kelso, Kelso Anderson, Tucker Chadwick, and Bowen Chadwick. In addition, best friend Anna Schnelle and boyfriend Sonny Barr and her dog Sunshine.

Friends are cordially invited to attend the visitation with the family on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. at Jeter Memorial Funeral Home, 311 N. Friendswood Dr., Friendswood, Texas 77546, (281) 992-7200.

A graveside service will follow at 10:00 A.M. at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, TX., with Rev. Dr. C.O. McGee, Jr. officiating.
