Patrick B. Watts, 41, a resident of Etowah for most of his life, died early Wednesday morning, Nov. 21, 2007, in Etowah.
A son of the late David F. Watts, he was a former conductor for CSX Railroad, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Etowah. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, D.L. and Edith Buckner Watts and John "Pete" and Helen Stewart Tuggle; and two uncles, Johnny Tuggle and Randy Watts.
He was a free spirit, gentle and kind, a friend to all who knew and loved him. He loved the outdoors, hiking and fishing. He will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Judy and Charlie Brown of Cleveland; one brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Celest Watts of Delano; one sister, Andi Brown Donaldson of Cleveland; his stepmother, Brenda Watts of Etowah; one stepbrother, Kurt Gregory of Idaho; a special nephew, Bryce Watts; a special niece, Cayleigh Watts; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special aunt, Janice Tuggle Barnes.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Shaun King officiating.
There will be no formal visitation.
