Jessie passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the age of 68. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was a resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana. Jessie was known for his great sense of humor, kind heart, and his patriotism for the country he loved. He proudly served as a Sergeant in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed playing dominos, card games, watching his favorite programs on the TV and doing puzzles to keep his mind sharp. Jessie was truly one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children, Justin Spence (Emily), Jessie Spence (Holly), Travis Crosby, William Coppersmith (April), Melissa Coppersmith and his brothers and sisters.
Jessie is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Coppersmith and his parents, Lolita and Jessie Spence Sr.
