ANNA MARIE (TEDFORD) BRUGGISSER Ann Bruggisser passed away peacefully Friday night, April 9, 2004 with her family by her bedside at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, Delaware. Ann has been a 60 year resident of South Florida, most recently living in Boynton Beach. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 26, 1923 and spent her school years in Memphis, Tennessee. After raising two children, she pursued a career in banking where she worked for Biscayne Federal/Citibank in Miami retiring after 29 years of service. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Patricia Bird and son-in-law David Bird of New Castle, DE; son, Arthur W. Bruggisser of Pembroke Pines, FL; four grandchildren: Melissa and Derek Bird and Brian and Amanda Bruggisser and a sister Merle McCormack of Memphis, TN. The family requests that donations be made in Ann's name to The National Cancer Institute, Building 31 Room 11 A-16, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20892; www.cancer.gov.
