Doris Jean Stewart, age 89, of Blacklick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born December 13, 1931 to Clarence W. and Mearl R. (Foster) Esty in Circleville, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Clarence W., John E. and sister, Shirley Ann Esty. Also preceded in death by husband, Robert, whom she was married to for 49 years. Survived by two sons, daughter-in-law, four grandchildren nine great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, many beloved nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Red.

Doris worked at Gahanna-Jefferson Schools for many years and later was part owner/operator of Blacklick Feed Mill along with her husband Bob, sons, and daughter-in-law. Doris was a member of Havens Corners Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and Bible school. She is also a past member of the Jefferson Township Park Board and Jefferson Township Fire Department ladies' auxiliary.

Doris will always be known for her beautiful smile as well as her loving and caring heart. Her family meant everything to her, and she was a role model to all. A special thanks to her helper "angels" who lovingly assisted Doris over the past few years; Amy, Andrea, Brenda, Judy, Chelsea, and Carmen.

A celebration of Doris' life will be held at a later date. Family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd. SE, Newark. OH 43055 or Havens Corners Church 6696 Havens Corners Rd., Blacklick, OH 43004 in Doris' memory.
